The film shows how a regular mail flight from Germany to South America is performed in 1935. The flight starts in Berlin and runs over Stuttgart, Marseille, Seville, Las Palmas, Bathurst (West Africa) to Natal (Brasil) Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires. Four different airplaines and two floating air bases are involved in this undertaking. With this method the Lufthansa inaugurated in 1934 the first regular transatlantic air traffic.
