Der Ghrib-Stamm besteht aus neun Untergruppen, von denen sich die meisten äußerlich durch ihre Turban Tracht unterscheiden lassen. Vorgestellt werden die Turbane der Jerarda, der Thwamer, der Fdiliyin, der Ghunayma, der Chaanba sowie einige individuelle Verschleierungsformen.

The Ghrib-tribe is a confederation of nine sub-groups. Most of these sub-groups differ externally from each other in their way of wearing their turban. The film deals with the Jerarda-fashion, the Thwamer-fashion, the Fdiliyin-fashion, the Ghunayma-fashion, the Chaanba-fashion, and more individual fashions: the Kechta l-Hajjaj, the Sakim Mbarek-way and the Amara bin Masud or zemala-way of veiling.
