Typischer Lebensraum des Afrikanischen Habichtsadlers. Obwohl bereits ein Jungvogel aufgezogen wird, trägt das Weibchen noch frische Zweige in die Horstmulde. Danach füttert das Weibchen den Jungvogel mit dem Rest eines geschlagenen Zwerg-Mungos. Nach der Fütterung verläßt der Altvogel den Horst.

The typical habitat of the eagle hawk is shown. Although a young bird is already being reared the female still caries fresh twigs to the eyrie. Subsequently the female feeds the young with the remains of a dwarf mungo. After feeding the parent bird leaves the eyrie.
