| English | English A fisherman from Caponga (Ceará) shows the manufacture of the fateixa stone anchor for his "jangada"-raft. He first carves the wooden cross and drills holes for the guiding-sticks, which he then puts in. Later he goes to the shore, where he looks for a suitable rock to be shaped into a stone anchor. If the stone fits, he sets it upon the wooden cross and fixes it with the bars, which he finally ties together with a string. |
