This film documents the celebration of Halloween in the town of State College, Central Pennsylvania, on Monday, October 31, 1966. The film depicts typical Halloween activities in several families, in an elementary school and in the community, including an early-evening parade on the main street of the town. The film was especially produced as a contribution to the international project of the Encyclopaedia Cinematographica on children's customs and games in various countries.
