Vier mit Pflöcken gespannte Zeltbahnen werden bei Ifrane aneinandergenäht. Annähen von Randgurten, hölzernen Spannknebeln sowie von Haltegurten, Einschneiden und Umsäumen von Ösen, Verbreitern der vorderen und hinteren Zeltbahn mit Zwickeln, Einnähen des Mittelgurtes, Einschieben des Firstholzes und Einsetzen zweier Hauptstützen sowie Nachspannen aller Schnüre und Befestigen der seitlichen Zeltvorhänge.

A tent is being made. Four woven, dark tent-widths (cf. film E 1094) are first spread out on the floor, pulled tight with the help of pegs, and sewn together, from the centre out, with white woollen thread. Border straps are then sewn on, first front and back and then the sides. Wooden toggles for the guy-ropes, and harness, are sewn on and eyelets cut in and hemmed round. The front and back tent-widths are widened in the centre by a gusset. The strap for the central joint, running horizontally to the tent-widths, is then sewn on. The ridge-pole is then pushed under the canvas, which is held taut by guy-ropes and pegs, and then lifted by two main props. The process is finished when all ropes have been checked for tautness and the front and rear curtains have been attached.
