A pair of reed warblers (A. arundinaceus) feed their young, who are already well feathered, in natural surroundings. The larva aquatic insect is noticable in the feed. Droppings are presented to the parent bird and disposed by him. One of the young birds climbs out of the nest onto the next reed to return almost immediately wings flapping.
