Abstract

German	German In der Gemeindelehmgrube von Mannebach (Hunsrück) sind drei Bauern beim Lehmbrechen: Abgrenzen des Blocks (Breite: 2 m, Höhe: 3 m, Dicke: 65 cm) durch Unterhöhlen an der Grubenwand und Einziehen senkrechter Rinnen. Abkeilen des Blocks, Fällen mit Hilfe einer Hebelstange, Zerschlagen der Trümmer.
English	English Three peasants are shown at work in the communal loam pit: cutting of a large block of loam (6 by 9 by 2 feet), breaking it down with the help of wedges and levers and pounding to pieces.
