Exzisionsfeiern. Eine Gruppe junger Mädchen wird im Rahmen eines Initiationsvorganges von einem Mann beschnitten. Nach der Operation legen Frauen den Mädchen Blätterröcke um, in denen sie mit den anderen Dorfbewohnern an einem Tanzfest teilnehmen, bevor sie sich für einen Monat vom Dorf zurückziehen. Nach einem Monat findet ein weiteres Fest statt, bei dem die reichgeschmückten Mädchen in der Frauenkleidung tanzen.

Girls who are ready for the excision ceremony appear with their female relatives before the specialist who will perform the operation. Once the excisions are over, the girls don dresses made of leaf material and take part in the singing and dancing which lasts the entire day. After a month of solitude another festival takes place and the excised girls now wear the dresses of women.
