Aslam verkauft Medizin zur Linderung sexueller Probleme auf den Straßen Neu Delhis. Khalifa Barkat führt ein "akhara" nebenan im Park und setzt dort eine Gruppe junger Männer der moralischen und körperlichen Tortur des Ringens aus. Hunderte von Männern laufen täglich durch den Park und über den Markt. Der Film untersucht die Unsicherheit des Lebens der Arbeiterklasse sowie deren Auswirkung auf die männliche Sexualität und die Beziehung der Geschlechter.

This is a film about performance, and the fear of not being able to perform successfully. In Meena Bazar in old Delhi, the tenuous aspirations of men and boys are reflected in their faces as they cluster around Aslam's street stall to listen to his spiel about how to enhance male sexual performance. Near Aslam’s stalls is a school for wrestlers (akhara), where discipline and abstinence from impure sex are encouraged by the guru. In an adjacent tea shop, men appreciate storytelling that invokes the humorous and the fantastic, offering an escape from the dreariness of their daily lives. All of these men have, in their different ways, found a way to perform life's tasks in an insecure world.
