Schwarze Bohnenblattlaus, grüne Pfirsichblattlaus. Verschiedene Blattlausarten wandern oder fliegen auf gelbe oder grüne Farbflächen zu und werden durch sie zum Saugversuch veranlaßt. Durch Streifenmusterexperimente wird die Farbtüchtigkeit der Blattläuse nachgewiesen.

The film demonstrates that yellow and green are colour stimuli for Aphis fabae and Myzus persicae: they are able to discriminate them from all shades of gray. This is exhibited through two innate kind of behaviour which are elicited by colour sign stimuli: 1. through orientation either by walking or by flying towards a yellow or green area when stimuli being in a frontal position and 2. through "probing" when the colour stimulus is below the insect.
