Es werden zwei Kinder vorgestellt, die an einer Vitamin D-Überempfindlichkeit leiden. Der organische Symptomenkomplex wird erwähnt: supravalvuläre Aortenstenose, Pulmonalstenose, Stellungsanomalie und Schmelzdysplasie der Zähne, Überstreckbarkeit der Gelenke. Nachweis der eingeschränkten psychomotorischen Leistungsfähigkeit der Kinder mit Hilfe verschiedener Tests: Zeichnen auf Anweisung, Zusammensetzen von Figuren, konstruktives Spielen (werden nicht altersentsprechend ausgeführt). Das Verhalten der Kinder untereinander gestaltet sich sehr kooperativ und freundlich.

In the majority of cases, children with the "supravalvular aortic stenosis" syndrome present a symptom complex of multiple malformations of internal and external organs, neurological disorders and retardation of mental development. For the greater part, they have a striking resemblance not only by their typical aspect but also by their behaviour. The film demonstrates a number of the most typical symptoms of these children.
