The different behaviour in turning of two elastomers (Polychloroprene): 70 Shore A and 80 Shore A) is examined. Cutting speeds and effective cutting angels are varied. A comparison between materials like cast iron and tempered steel is made. The frequency of the microscopic pictures is 4800 f/s.
