Falldemonstration. Ein etwa 60-jähriger Patient atmet beim Eintreffen des Notarztes nur ganz flach, ist zyanotisch und kaum ansprechbar (Grundleiden: Amyotrophe Lateralsklerose). Nach Anlegen der Infusion wird der Patient ohne Narkose intubiert und beatmet. Behandlung der vermuteten Acidose und der Herz-Kreislauffunktion.

Case demonstration: A sixty year old patient has only very shallow breathing by the time the emergency doctor arrives, is cyanotic and hardly responsive (basic disease: amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
