English | English Multiple sclerosis, a common nerve disease among humans, is characterized by focal demyelination distributed around all parts of the central nervous system. In cases where the cause is not yet known viral, immunological, genetical and other factors are treated in the light of experimental and epidemiological studies. The wide variety of symptoms and the various courses of the disease are described using case histories. The necessity for consistent physiotherapy, social care, careful therapy of the symtoms and suitable rehabilitation facilities is thereby clearly shown. |
