Abstract Ummagnetisierung von Nickeleisenschichten im magnetischen Gleichfeld. Barkhausen-Sprünge der Domänenwände: große Sprünge der gradlinigen Wände einer homogenen Schicht, Keimbildung am Schichtrand und unregelmäßige Wandkonfiguration einer Schicht mit inhomogenen magnetischen Eigenschaften.
The magnetization reversal of evaporated anisotropic 81/19 Ni-Fe films between 50 and 250 nm thick is shown, for a slowly increased magnetic dc field oriented parallel to their easy axis. The magnetization reversal consists of Barkhausen jumps of the domain walls. They have been made visible in polarized light by means of the Kerr magnetooptical effect. The following topics are shown: 1. The large Barkhausen jumps of the straight walls in a relatively homogeneous film. 2. The domain nucleation in a film the edge of which is visible as well. 3. The irregular domain walls in a film with relatively inhomogeneous magnetic properties.
