Das auskristallisierte Salz wird aus dem Salinenbecken geschöpft und gelagert. Es wird zerkleinert, mit Wasser gemischt und zu Barren geformt. Nach dem Markieren wird der Abtransport der Salzbarren gezeigt.

Salt dissolved by the groundwater and deposited in crystalline form at the bottom of the salt pools is loosened with a hoe, scooped out and poured on the ground beside the pool. The dried salt is pounded, moistened and shaped in a mould into bars. When the bars are dry and hard, the owner makes his mark upon with a piece of charcoal. The bars, which have a weight of 23 kg, are transported by camel from the saltern to the caravan-place.
