The Baule are acquainted with different games in which they throw several balls up like jugglers or whirl them around fixed at the end of two strings. The balls bounce against each other rhythmically. Sometimes they accompany their songs with a spatula, rubbed rhythmically, and this sound is reinforced by a nut shell or a bowl.
