Gnathiidae sind im Jugendstadium (Manca) ebenfalls Blutsauger. Als erwachsene Tiere leben sie in Schwämmen und nehmen keine Nahrung mehr auf. Chaetiliidae (Glyptonotus antarcticus) leben räuberisch, z. B. von Polychaeten. |

Cirolanidae have a cylindrical form and also bury themselves. The related Aegidae (Aega antarctica) are ectoparasites of fish. Gnathiidae are also bloodsuckers in their juvenile stage (manca).
