Krzysztof Dyba is a PhD student in the field of Earth and environmental sciences at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He is interested in spatial data analysis, remote sensing and programming in R, particularly in agriculture, and I was involved in several R&D projects related to crop classification, yield prediction, and soil mapping. He also contributed to the development of R-spatial packages. During the 2023 OpenGeoHub Summer school, he granted OpenGeoHub’s communication experts an interview, shared his experience in Earth and environmental sciences, and gave them his views on the topic of satellite image classification.
