We establish the Haag-Kastler axioms for a class of interacting quantum field theories on the twodimensional de Sitter space, which satisfy finite speed of light. The P(φ)2 model constructed by Barata, Jäkel & Mund, describing massive scalar bosons with polynomial interactions, provides an example.
