Mollusca, Gastropoda, veliger larva, undetermined species, length 230 µm, Sylt 10.2015. 0:57 min. The veliger larva resembles a small snail with the velum as a special organ for swimming through the water. The velum of this specimen is retracted into the shell. Statocysts are well developed in this early stage. This shell is completely transparent. Video can be used for teaching.
