Branchiostoma lanceolatum (Acrania, Cephalochordata), body length 4.2 mm, Helgoland 07.2012. 1:13 min. Branchiostoma (earlier Amphioxus) lives in special sandy sediments. Their eggs develop planktonic larvae, demonstrating the whole development of the body plan of this special taxon. Video can be used for teaching.
