More than often it happens, that design changes of websites include unintended side-effects. Visual regression testing is one of few ways to get notified about those side-effects early on. I want to present our implementation of visual regression testing based on the RobotFramework and point out some challenges we had to face. With this approach we intend to test the university website of TU Dresden, which is a large-scaled Plone deployment.
