Die "Jäger" bilden eine Linie. Ihnen gegenüber steht eine "Oryx-Antilope", die Angriffe und Scheinangriffe vorführt. Die Jäger versuchen, diesen durch Ausweichen zu entgehen (strenger Rhythmus durch Fußstampfen und lautes Exhalieren).

A group of men, arranged more or less in a line, is facing, challenging, and baiting the "gemsbok". There are mock-charges and regular charges by the "gemsbok" and correct and faulty avoidances by the "hunters". Several times a man is caught by the "gemsbok" as the group continously changes sides with him. This "hit", however, does not induce the men to change the "gemsbok". This takes place later without apparent reason. The game is beautifully played in strict adherence to rhythm by the "hunters" and the "gemsbok".
