Rekonstruktion der Heuernte bei Vilslev. Gemäht wird gegen das stehende Gras, das Heu muß weggeharkt werden. Nach einer Trockenzeit von 4 bis 5 Tagen kann das Gras gewendet werden. Das trockene Heu wird zu einem Streifen zusammengeharkt, der mit Hilfe von Pferden, die ein langes Brett ziehen, zusammengeschoben und in dem Erntewagen nach Hause gefahren wird. Mit Zeitdehnung.

The film shows a reconstruction of hay harvesting in the marshland near Vilslev (South-Jutland). The actors in the film are people who have taken part in the hay harvest ever since their youth at the turn of the century.
