Abstract
JATS, BITS, and publishing live in an ecosystem of interrelated standards and initiatives. If you don't know what the acronyms ORCID, PIE-J and JAV stand for, this talk will describe what they are and why JATS implementers should be familiar with them and many standards, recommended practices, and other initiatives in the JATS neighborhood.
