Gläubige verwandeln sich mit Hilfe von vielfältigen Ritualhandlungen in die Meditationsgottheit Vajrabhairava. Durch die Identifizierung mit der Gottheit erfahren sie deren geistige Qualitäten und erhalten die Ermächtigung, Tantra-Lehren zu erteilen und Tantra-Zeremonien zu vollziehen. Dies ist die Voraussetzung für den weiteren Vollzug der Zeremonie. Diese erste Zeremonie findet im Kultraum statt.

The faithful transform themselves into the meditation deity Vajrabhairava with the aid of manifold ritual acts. As a result of their identification with the deity, they experience its mental qualities and receive the authorisation to instruct others in the Tantric teachings and to perform Tantric ceremonies. This is the precondition for the further performance of the ceremony. This first ceremony takes place in the cult room.
