This video, taken through a microscope, follows adipocytes as they travel through a microfluidic device based on Deterministic Lateral Displacement. Larger cells are displaced laterally (downwards in the video) as they flow through an array of pillars. At the end of the device cells exit in three outlets depending on their size.
