We describe how the symmetries in configuration spaces for mass partition problems are the key to solving such problems. In particular, we will focus on the following problem: Given positive integers r and d, and d smooth finite measures in R^d, there is a partition of R^d into r convex sets that simultaneously splits each measure evenly.
