Abstract
At The PloneConf 2019 in Ferrara I presented a project website for a government department where they could collaboratively edit and publish a 'country required 6 year plan' for water management. One of the unique questions was if that plan could be exported to a Word Document as well. In 2019 we were still planning and converting our prototypes to a first version when I held that talk. Now the website is live and we have finished the Word export component. We didn't reach 100% export functionality, but we got reasonably close to be useful and used in a production setting. This talk will focus on the Word export component using python-docx and challenges/lessons learned.
