Data plays an important role in almost every application. Many Windows 8 apps are built around data as well. With Windows 8, quite a lot of new features to work with data are being introduced. Semantic zoom and the GridView are some interesting new controls to use in your apps. But also data binding, push notifications and sharing data with other apps play a vital role in data driven apps.
