Hello everyone, my name is Filipe Cebllo. I have a degree in physics and masters in cosmology from UFCG and I currently teach in physics at the public school in the state of Paraíba, Brazil.
Throughout this presentation I report an experience of scientific dissemination throughout the extension project of the radio telescope BINGO. The main objective of this work is present and report of the experience of scientific dissemination and
popularization of astronomy and the setting of Paraíba throughout the BINGO radio telescope project. BINGO is a acronym for baryon acoustic oscillation and neutral gas observation. Observations, the only radio telescope designed to make the first detection of baryon acoustic oscillation
by radio fragments. The BINGO telescope will perform the detection in the radio band in the range of 960 to 1260 MHz. This is detection range of the neutral gas
with wavelet located in wave shift between 0.13 and 0.48. The BINGO project was the main objective to investigate this baryon acoustic oscillation of the most abundant element of the universe, the atomic hydrogen in the wavelet to
21 centimeters 144 GHz. Detection is not performed of the semi-wavelength due to wet dining caused by universe expansion. There is a change to the detection range with between
960 and 1260 MHz. In the 2018 December, throughout the extension project of the radio telescope BINGO and UFCG at the Agenio Mendes Pedrozei School, located in the city of Aguiar in the interior of Paraíba was made workshops
were held for elementary and high school students. During the action, astronomy workshops were held in the institution country yard. The objective of the project to develop action that promote the scientific spirit,
motivate interest in the scientific career and spread the importance of BINGO project to local community and the science as a whole. This was the planetary distance workshop. I used the
school yard where I killed the planet in the skull where the real distances are from the planet in the solar system. At another time, I conducted a workshop where I present how eclipses work using a mechanic simulator.
Here are other photos of the moment like another class. So the conclusions in December 2018 throughout the
extension project astronomy in the highland of Paraíba in the city of Aguiar Paraíba where the BINGO radio telescope will divide action of scientific dissemination and popularization of astronomy were carried out. School and the city of Aguiar are a significant
right to disseminate and publicize the importance of what is being built in the city. In addition, it is possible to create an interest in the areas of astronomy, cosmology and the like, sought contact with these signs that are widely disseminated in the school environment.
The scientific communication and communication initiative is the key to the popular success of the BINGO radio telescope project. So that is all. Thank you for everyone.
