Upcoming web component technologies like the Client-side Component Model (ccm) bring us to a new kind of web. Each developed ccm-based web component, that is published under a free software licence, expands the functionality of the web as a whole and is embeddable in every web-based content. They are reusable and recombinable like Lego. In this talk we give a showcase, on the example of ccm, based on live demos, how it feels to think, work and develop in web components and what possibilities this will offer, specially to the free software community. After that, ccm will be explained in more detail.
