Englisch | Englisch Two Bushmen are searching for a springhare warren. After some time one hunter succeeds in putting up and locating a springhare in his warren with the springhare spear. His compagnon hooks the animal and the man digs it out. The animal is disemboweled, sinews, bones and other usable parts are put away. The hare is singed in an open fire, then placed in a pit in the ground and cooked covered with hot charcoal. In the meantime the hunter tattoos his fellow suffering from a sore throat. He rubs a specific "medicinal" fat and ashes into the wounds, then given the man a massage. The treatment takes a long times and when it comes to an end, the hare is properly cooked. The two hunters eat the hare joined by a third man who had been waiting for them in the bush. |
