Gäste vom Rio Ocamo, die zum Palmfest nach Klavateri gekommen sind, ziehen mit Bündeln und Waffen durch eine Bananenpflanzung, verzehren dort das von den Gastgebern ausgelegte Wildbret sowie Palmfrüchte und Getränke. Tänzer werden bemalt und geschmückt, umkreisen in rhythmischem Lauf den Dorfplatz, schwingen Waffen und Palmwedel und werden in der Mitte von nichtgeschmückten Männern zum Schein angegriffen.

Equipped with bundles, then men also carrying their arms, the participants of the festival walk across a banana plantation. There they also eat the game killed on the preceding hunting. Everybody then paints his body and puts on ornaments for dancing the bleigei-dance in the village. The dancers first appear one by one, moving around the village square waving their bows and arrows and palm branches. Boys too take part in the dancing. The dancers then move once more around the village square all at a time. A group of men keeps motionless in the centre of the circle, another one performs a kind of mock attack.
