Dann formt sie ein höherwandiges Kochgefäß in Parallelwulsttechnik, schabt es mit einem Löffel glatt und brennt es im Brennhaufen.

A woman is collecting sponges (Chauchi) in the river, then she digs clay and pounds it, tempers the clay with the ground ash from the sponge and wedges the mixture. First she forms a dish with a low rim from a ball of clay, smoothens the rim and bends it outward. Then she coils a higher cooking pot, smoothens it with a spoon and pitfires the pot.
