This film shows delirium in a 43-year-old female patient after prolonged abuse of hypnotics (intoxication by medicaments). The most striking symptoms are motor unrest, clouding of the consciousness and suggestibility. The patient suffers from hallucinations, temporal and spacial disorientation and increased drive for activity. The facial expression is bewildered and the patient has a coarse tremor. Her general physical condition is severely reduced.
