Der Film greift einige Kommunikationsprobleme und Schwierigkeiten im alltäglichen Zusammenleben zwischen Behinderten und Nichtbehinderten auf. Anhand von Beispielen werden Reaktionen gezeigt, die durch gegenseitige Verunsicherung, Vorurteile und Informationsdefizite entstehen. Starre Normen und Verhaltensweisen werden dabei hinterfragt und Ansätze zur Loslösung von diesen Normen angesprochen.

The film deals with several communication problems and difficulties between the handicapped and non-handicapped people in their everyday life together. Using examples, reactions resulting from mutual feelings of insecurity, prejudices and informational deficits. In the process, rigid norms and behavioural modes are closely scrutinised and approaches to liberation from these norms are addressed.
