On the basis of selected patients with senile dementia, Alzheimer's disease and Pick's atrophy, who were particularly suitable for film purposes, the auther examines the psychopathology and motor activity of presenile and senile diseases. In this regard the emphasis is placed on a subtile demonstration of the pathological deterioration of reflexes which are near the brain stem. In addition of this, particular attention is paid to the deterioration of speech.
