English | English Jeronimo, a young Matsigenka, who has a wife and small child and still works for his father-in-law, shows how threads are obtained from an agave plant to make cords, how th cord is made and how a carrying net used by men is made from one continuous thread, i. e. is worked from one continuous twisted thread in a knotting technique (of the two crossed loop type). As the conclusion of the work on the carrying net could not be filmed, Jeronimo shows how a carrying net is held or carried with the headband. |
