English | English Men and women in festive attire have assemble for the mourning-dance on one of the dancing-place in the Kenga village of Barama. On the border of the dancing-place stands the orchestra which consists of five flutes differently pitched, three rattles and three drums. In the second part of the film the dancers are joined by several Arab women, who can clearly be distinguished from the Kenga women. The film shows two excerpts from the dodi-dances which, however, comprehend all essential sequences and steps of the dance. |
