Abstract
At the HPI School of Design Thinking in Potsdam international students from all kinds of disciplines collaborate to create innovations with an impact. Before Covid-19 they worked together in workshop spaces specifically designed to foster innovation and collaboration on site in Potsdam. This summer, our Design Thinking programs took place in a completely virtual setting. Now we are moving from completely virtual to hybrid environments for collaborative learning. But how do we need to design hybrid environments to foster collaboration and innovation? How can we create safe learning environments on site and virtual? In our session, Uli Weinberg and Martin Schwemmle will virtually meet you live from the HPI D-School in Potsdam and talk about the role of the physical and virtual space for innovation and collaborative learning, combining insights from research and practice. Join us for an interactive discussion showcasing concepts and tools applied in the student programs of the HPI D-School Potsdam.
