Doliolum sp. (Tunicata, Thaliacea, Doliolida, Doliolidae), length 1.1 mm, Lanzarote 4.2019. 0:40 min. Doliolum is a representant of the Thaliacea inside the Tunicata. The barrel shaped transparent body of this phorozooid demonstrates the wide openings on both ends, circular muscle rings and gills which divide the internal space. Complex metagenetic life cycle. Doliolum may occur in very high numbers.
