Video Supplement to "Objectively identified mesoscale surface air pressure waves in the context of winter storm environments and radar reflectivity features: a 3+ year analysis"
These videos will supplement an article to be submitted to Atmospheric Chemistry and Physics, titled "Objectively identified mesoscale surface air pressure waves in the context of winter storm environments and radar reflectivity features: a 3+ year analysis." They are animations of radar data for three cases during which pressure waves were detected in either Toronto or the New York City metro area. Each video has four panels, showing (a) radar reflectivity, (b) radar Doppler velocity, (c) detected enhanced reflectivity features, and (d) detected Doppler velocity waves. The radar data come from Buffalo, NY (KBUF), and Upton, NY (KOKX).
