Abstract
This coffee lecture in context of CRAFT-OA is on technical standards. It addresses beginners in the field of institutional publishing - that means institutional publishing services (ISPS) as well as scholars who wants to start a Diamond Open Access journal. The focus of the lecture is on the publishing software Open Journal Systems (OJS). On the basis of the Diamond Open Access Standards (DOAS) the lecture presents a list of technical standards, which is deepened within the scope of the possibilities of OJS. Some standards can only be met with specific plugins. The lecture presents an overview of plugins and best practices with which a stable and sustainable publication environment for Open Access journals can be provided. This enables listeners to meet technical standards independently. In this way, the lecture makes a contribution for quality-assured Diamond Open Access publishing.
