Hi. Smith provides IT and development support for Ministry of Interior and also for public safety organizations. We have over 400 employees who develop and manage over 160 services.
00:21
30 of them or over 30 of them are 24-7 services. I'm going to talk about GIS services for public safety organizations. I only show our services and use our event for the use case.
00:41
We provide base map services. We have four different kind of base maps. They are made with map proxy and map server. We use map proxy for map cache generation and for publishing the data we use map server. Our users also need offline maps so we also provide vector tile maps that are made with T-REX.
01:08
We also provide over 200 different map layers that are made with map server. Here we can see different kind of educational point of interest data or some entertainment bars and museums.
01:27
Also we can see that all the dangerous facilities are far far away from here. We also provide routing APIs. Our older APIs are based on Monab.
01:42
And also OSRM are the newest ones. Here are the shortest routes to, for example, to Icebreaker and today's location to... Yeah, you can see it on the map.
02:02
And we also provide our users geospatial data management where they can also manage and make spatial data that is needed for them. And here are event related places. So we provide all these kind of services open source software because we have a team who likes to make things with open source.
02:36
But also our services and clients usually have services that are only in our own network and they have to be up 24-7.
02:48
And that's it.
