Abstract
Prof. Olli Vapalahti is a Haartman Institute Virology Professor at the University of Helsinki. He is the project manager of the Viromit project (Viruses and their zoonotic potential), Veclimit and of the EU-funded DURABLE EU project. At the 2023 MOOD Scientific Conference, he presented a study on the phylogeography of Tick-borne encephalitis virus in Europe. After his session, he kindly agreed to grant an interview to WP6 MOOD communication experts.
