The flood-pedestrian simulator is a tool to study interactions between people and floodwater under immediate evacuation process at a microscopic level. The simulator is developed within the Flexible Agent-based Modelling Environment for the GPU FLAMEGPU framework for modelling multiple agent interactions on CUDA Cores for parallel processing on Graphical Processing Units (GPUs). It dynamically couples in parallel a hydrodynamic model to a pedestrian model and to enable capturing two-way interactions across pedestrian agents, representing people, and flood agents representing local floodwater.
