XAML is a first class citizen in Windows 8, and while many of the concepts are the same as XAML in WPF and Silverlight, there is a long list of major differences too. This session will summarize the similarities with earlier platforms and then discuss the most important new capabilities, including some of the new controls. This isn’t just for experienced XAML developers – hints and strategies for those who know little or no XAML are also included.
